TFE specialises, in the re-supply of capital equipment to the semiconductor industry. The founding activity for the company was the acquisition, refurbishment and onward supply of, ultra high vacuum tools, particularly products originally manufactured by Materials Research corporation (MRC),  viz, Eclipse and Batch Sputtering Systems.  

From our start, we immediately discovered that the market for pre-owned equipment had changed. Once this market existed to serve small manufacturers with access to limited resources to equip their product lines. Today the procurement of pre-owned equipment has become  an important purchasing element for major semiconductor producers, as they push for ever greater reductions in the key "cost-of-ownership" driver, and circumvent extended delivery periods in times of high industry activity. Central to these policies is the need for business integrity, and high quality service and support.  Such high standards are central to TFE operating ethic, and we continually work to meet and exceed customer expectations.

As well as maintaining our own extensive stock of pre-owned equipment, we are partnered with  a worldwide network of pre-owned equipment suppliers, and have the possibility to offer virtually every tool used in the industry. All pre-owned equipment listed on this site is for exclusive supply from TFE.
